Looking over the damage

The team looks the vehicle over in person, takes notes and writes it up before any repair is agreed. The second clip follows one bumper repair through to the finished car.

What to expect

You do not need a complete claim file before talking to us. Fly Garage works with all insurance companies and uses CCC ONE for estimating. We can discuss damage documentation, the preliminary repair estimate, and supplements when additional repair needs are identified. Coverage and claim decisions remain with your insurer.

Start with what you have

The vehicle details and a description of what happened are enough to start. Your carrier and claim number are helpful when available.

Photos with context

Photograph the whole vehicle, then each damaged area from a medium distance and close up. This helps the shop locate and understand the concern.

Repair planning

Discuss collision, paint, frame concerns, and transportation with the same local team. The actual vehicle assessment informs the repair plan.

Coverage and authorization

An intake is a request for review, not repair authorization or insurance approval. Talk with the shop about scope and with your insurer about coverage and rental benefits.

Photos that help us assess the damage

Take photographs only when it is safe to do so. Stay out of traffic, and don’t crawl under an unstable vehicle for a picture.

  1. Wide

The whole vehicle side or panel, so we know where the damage sits.

  2. Medium, 3–6 feet

Step about 3–6 feet away to show the damaged area and the panels around it.

  3. Close-up

The detail: cracks, dents, scratches and finish damage, straight on.

  4. Extras, if safe

Dashboard warning lights, the wheel and tire, and underneath only if you can see it without crawling under the car.

Getting started

Make contact

Send your details or call the body shop. Tell us where the vehicle is and whether it can be driven safely.

Inspect & discuss

Share your claim information and arrange an assessment. The team explains the proposed work before it begins.

Review any changes

Confirm the repair plan and ask about changes, transportation needs, and progress as work moves forward.

Before you contact us

You don’t need to have every answer. Bring what you know and we’ll talk through the rest.

Questions for the shop

Call us if you need help with your vehicle.

Call the body shop
Do I need a claim number to contact you?

No. Share it if you have it; you can still begin with the vehicle details, photos, and what happened.

Does the website connect to CCC ONE?

No. Fly Garage uses CCC ONE in its estimating workflow, but this website collects the details for staff review. It does not generate a CCC estimate or connect to insurer systems.

Can I arrange towing or a rental?

Ask the team about both. Towing needs a separately confirmed pickup and destination; rental availability and terms are confirmed by the office.

Should I drive the damaged vehicle to the shop?

If you are unsure whether it is safe, do not assume that it is. Call the shop or towing team to discuss the situation. Never take photos where doing so puts you in traffic or another unsafe position.
